HONAKER, Va. — Avin Parrott returned the opening kick for a touchdown, as the Tigers remained unbeaten on the season with a rout of the Rebels.
Honaker (7-0) received a 39-yard interception return for a touchdown by Casey Harmon, and Harmon also caught a 16-yard scoring pass from Casey Dye.
Chase Johnson, Hayden Horn, Austin Smith and McKenzie Phillips also had touchdown runs for the Tigers. Phillips made six extra point conversion kicks and a 24-yard field goal.
Dye threw for 66 yards, while Smith led the Tigers with 66 yards on the ground.
Hurley’s lone points came on a 55-yard interception return to narrow the first quarter score to 14-6.
Honaker, which outgained Hurley 235-166 will host Castlewood on Friday, while Hurley (3-4) will visit Haysi.
