NEW RICHMOND — Wyoming East scored 14 points in the opening quarter and let its defense do the rest, winning its second game in a row by topping PikeView Friday.
The Warriors were led by their workhorse running back Uriah Adkins, who carried the ball 22 times for 100 yards and scored one of the first-quarter touchdowns.
Wyoming East (2-5) also scored through the air, with quarterback Hunter Hall finding Jacob Tilley on a 68-yard touchdown strike to put the game away in the fourth quarter.
PikeView (0-6) will be at River View next week, while Wyoming East will be looking for its third straight victory at home against Mount View.
