SUMMERSVILLE — The Class AA No. 11 Nicholas County Grizzlies scored on the first offensive play of the game on a 54-yard pass from Tyler Sagraves to Wil Mayes on their way to a 47-0 victory over River View (3-5) Friday.
Wil Mayes found the end zone four more times on the ground (8, 2, 9, 32) and finished with 159 yards.
Andrew Woods scored on a 7-yard run, and lineman Hunter Coleman scored on a 54-yard interception return for the Grizzlies.
Nicholas County (7-2) is off Friday before closing out the season with a trip to Richwood the following Friday.
