NARROWS, Va. — Cole Blaker run for 129 yards on 12 carries and scored two touchdowns, leading Narrows to a 34-13 win over Eastern Montgomery on Friday night at Ragsdale Field.
Blaize Hopkins added 76 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Cam Honaker also scored twice for the Green Wave.
Narrows had 360 yards on offense, including 325 on the ground. The Green Wave held the Mustangs (0-2) to 137 total yards.
Blaker scored from 46 yards in the first quarter, and Hopkins added a 1-run for the 13-0 lead.
Jesse East, who scored twice for Eastern Montgomery, scored from 4 yards out to trim the defict to 14-7 at the break.
Hopkins scored from 4 yards in the third before the Green Wave scored 20 points in the final period. Landon Neal caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Blaker. Honaker recovered a fumble 18 seconds later and ran 15 yards for another score.
East followed with a 1-yard run before Honaker completed the scoring with a 19-yard run with 40 seconds left in the game.
Narrows (1-1) will visit Montcalm on Friday.
