GALAX, Va. — The Galax Maroon Tide opened playoff action Friday night, defeating Twin Valley 52-7. Galax three non-offensive touchdowns in first quarter.
Twin Valley with had 22 rushes for five yards and no first downs in first half.
Galax’s Joseph Dixon (240 per-game average) had his lowest rush total since 86 yards in week one’s loss to Glenvar. He carried just six times before sitting out second half, but he finished the game with five touchdowns.
