INDEPENDENCE, Va. — Tyler Lundy threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns to Seth Phillips, and Logan Sikes ran for 60 yards and another score for the Blue Devils, who won the second week in a row.
Grayson County (2-5) was stingy on defense, holding Bland County to 12 yards on 13 carries in the opening half, with the Bears getting their initial first down on the final play before the break.
Sikes put the Blue Devils up 7-0 in the opening quarter, and the lead increased to 19-0 at the break on a 13-yard run by Clint Bourne and a 13-yard scoring pass from Lundy to Phillips.
The Blue Devils added two second half scores on a 54-yard pass from Phillips from Lundy, and an 11-yard run by Will Bane.
Bland County avoided the upset on a 2-yard run by Dylan Jackson with 19 seconds left in the game.
The Bears (3-4) will host Graham on Friday.
