HONAKER, Va. — Austin Smith ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns, while Casey Dye had 97 yards rushing and two scores of his own in a rout of the Panthers.
Honaker (4-0) took a 40-0 halftime lead, staying unbeaten on the season, while Twin Valley fell to 3-2, losing to an undefeated team for a second straight week.
Dye also threw 41-yard touchdown pass to Hayden Horn, and Smith added an 85-yard kick return for a score.
Dakota Hart and Bryson Bostic also scored rushing touchdowns for Honaker. Ben Ratliff led the Tigers with nine tackles, while Horn and Brent Coleman had six apiece.
Twin Valley was outgained 375-177. The Panthers scored a 15-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter.
Honaker will host John Battle next Friday, while Twin Valley will visit Phelps, Ky.
